PENTAGON return after 3 years with 10th-anniversary single '겁쟁이'

PENTAGON's first release in three years

PENTAGON dropped 겁쟁이 on September 11 at 6:10 PM. Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Kino, and Wooseok debuted in October 2016. This single marks their 10th anniversary and their first comeback in three years.

The track explores overcoming fear and finding courage to reach out to someone you've missed. Kino produced and composed, pulling in lyricist Kim Yi-na and author Baek Eun-byeol—who published her first bestseller in her second year of middle school—for the lyrics. APRO handled additional composition.

Kino said: "The sincere lyrics we made while thinking deeply for a long time with Korea's greatest writers, and the vocal feast of Hui hyung and Jinho hyung are the points."

What the members said coming back

Wooseok felt the weight of return: "The excitement about team activities and the excitement of being able to show PENTAGON's image again to Universe have gathered and my heart feels fluttery. It's like Chapter 2."

Hongseok wants audiences to think "As expected, PENTAGON," and "PENTAGON did PENTAGON things." He hopes the group lands as "a music group you can trust and listen to." Three years is a long gap. That kind of trust has to be rebuilt.

Triple Ten tour: four cities, four dates

The comeback runs alongside a 10th-anniversary tour titled 트리플 텐 (101010).
