BOYNEXTDOOR's debut album *HOME* moved 1,085,715 copies in week one. International press from CLASH, tmrw Magazine, and Genius praised the record.

BOYNEXTDOOR's first full-length album HOME dropped June 8 and sold 1,085,715 copies in its first week. That's four consecutive million-selling releases. The mini albums 19.99, No Genre, and The Action came before it.
The title track "VIRAL" hit Melon's weekly chart at No. 50 (June 8–14) and reached No. 7 on Apple Music's Top 100 Today: South Korea by June 15.
British music and fashion magazine CLASH called BOYNEXTDOOR "a team that has built their own color by combining sincere storytelling and addictive melodies." They said HOME finds the group "focusing on inner feelings more than ever" and showing "their most honest side."
Global music and culture outlet tmrw Magazine described it as "the most personal record" the group has released. The album will answer "how much deeper stories they can handle going forward." The tracklist spans breakup wounds, reckless love, the process of accepting a split, and the complex emotions of watching parents age. tmrw named BOYNEXTDOOR "one of the teams in the current K-pop scene that turns emotions into stories most delicately."
Genius pointed to five consecutive Billboard 200 entries as proof the group has "rapidly built a global fanbase." All six members wrote on the record for the first time, which Genius called "an important identity of HOME." The outlet also described "VIRAL" as "a song that reflects the core message they want to convey through music."
The album draws on experiences from the members' trainee period through their post-debut run as the "boys next door," threading themes of love, youth, and family across its tracklist.
