Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of KTRENZ (“Service,” “we,” “us”), available at KTRENZ.com. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Read carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, you confirm a parent or legal guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

• You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens on your account.
• One account per person. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this rule or these Terms.
• Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

While using the Service you agree NOT to:

• Harass, threaten, or impersonate any person or group.
• Post content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that promotes violence.
• Spam, scrape, automate, or otherwise abuse the Service or its users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems.
• Buy, sell, transfer, or trade accounts, Hearts, badges, or other virtual items outside the Service.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post (text, images, video, comments). By posting, you grant KTRENZ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, and promote that content on and through the Service. This license ends when you delete the content, except where it’s been shared (e.g. someone else quoted your post).

You represent that you own or have permission to post anything you upload, and that your content does not violate any law or third-party right.

5. Editorial content

Articles, columns, and curated posts produced by KTRENZ editors are owned by KTRENZ or our licensors. You may share links and short excerpts (with attribution), but may not republish full articles without written permission.

6. Hearts (virtual currency)

Hearts are an in-Service virtual reward you can earn by engaging with the community or purchase as part of optional paid plans. They have no cash value and are not redeemable for real currency. You may not transfer Hearts to other users outside the in-Service mechanisms (e.g. throws, tips). Hearts may be revoked if they were earned through abuse or fraud. Unused Hearts may be retained for as long as your account is active and are forfeited if your account is terminated for cause.

7. Paid plans

We offer optional paid memberships (e.g. Member, VIP). Pricing, billing cadence, and benefits are described on the relevant signup page. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and your paid benefits stop then. Refunds: 7-day money-back for monthly plans and 30-day money-back for annual plans, available by emailing [email protected] from the address on your account.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected. User content represents the views of its authors, not KTRENZ.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KTRENZ and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) US$100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify KTRENZ against any claim arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party right.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material we will notify registered users by email or in-product banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Otherwise the latest version posted at this URL governs.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.
