1. What we collect

Account info — email, username, display name, and any profile fields you choose to add (avatar, bio, country, date of birth for age-gating).
Activity — the posts, comments, reactions, saves, and Hearts transactions you create on the Service.
Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages visited. We use this for security, abuse prevention, and basic analytics.
Communication — messages you send to support or that you publish in community spaces.

2. Why we collect it

To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
To personalize your experience (e.g. recommended posts).
To prevent fraud, abuse, and harm to the community (account security, anti-spam).
To send you transactional emails (account verification, password reset, content you opted into).
To comply with applicable law.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of your data:

Hosting & infrastructure — Cloudflare, Supabase.
Analytics — aggregate, non-identifying usage metrics.
Advertising — ad delivery partners receive non-identifying signals (page topic, broad geography). We do not share your email or username with advertisers.
Legal — when required by law, lawful subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.

4. Cookies and similar tech

We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences (e.g. language). We use a small number of third-party cookies for analytics and ad delivery. You can disable cookies in your browser; some features (sign-in, saves) will not work without them.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct or update that data.
Delete your account and associated personal data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Opt out of marketing emails at any time (link in every email).

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete personal identifiers within 30 days; public posts and comments may be retained in anonymized form for community-history continuity.

The Service is operated globally. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and South Korea. We use appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses where required) when transferring data internationally.

8. Children

KTRENZ is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that a minor has provided personal data without parental consent, we delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material we will notify registered users by email or in-product banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
