ATEEZ hit Billboard 200 No. 1 for third time as Seonghwa debuts self-written poetry via Dingo
ATEEZ's *GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5* hits #1 on the Billboard 200 for their third time. Seonghwa shares original poems publicly for the first time via Dingo's *Before Sleep*.
GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5, ATEEZ's 14th mini album, debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. Third chart-topper for the group. The album also set a new personal best for first-week US sales and extended their run of consecutive Billboard 200 top-10 entries to nine albums straight. According to their agency KQ Entertainment, that nine-album top-10 streak is the most recorded by any K-pop group in the 2020s. Initial sales cleared 1.88 million copies, making it the group's seventh million-seller.
Separate from the album news, ATEEZ member Seonghwa made his original writing public for the first time on July 6 through Dingo's healing reading content series Before Sleep — a format where artists share personal stories at the end of the day. He wrote four poems drawing on emotions he experienced before and after his debut. The video marks the first time any of that work has been released.
A special Before Sleep book launched alongside the video, adding two poems and two essays not included in the video, bringing the total to four poems and four essays written by Seonghwa. KQ Entertainment plans to donate proceeds from book sales to child welfare facilities.
ATEEZ will hold the fan meeting ATINY'S VOYAGE : TINY MYSTERY at Korea University Hwajung Gymnasium in Seoul from July 17 to 19.
