BBGIRLS drop 'BODY WAVE' MV, first new song in 14 months

BODY WAVE arrived July 16, 2026, roughly 14 months after BBGIRLS' last release, the remake 희망사항 (Huimang Sahang) from May 2025.

Tropical synth meets moombahtón rhythm. Brass cuts through. The chorus is a full-body roll call: "머리 wave, 허리 wave, 엉덩이 wave, 다리 wave." Other lines land harder—"손을 뻗어, 겁먹지 마" (reach out your hand, don't be scared) and "태양보다 뜨겁게" (hotter than the sun).

BOK of 815VIDEO directed the MV at a vacation pool and on a yacht, members in sporty beachwear. The cameos run deep: broadcaster Kwon Hyuk-soo, comedian Hong Sung-hyun, Bae Seul-gi, Kkwachuhyung, Macdaddy, Jamez, Jung Dae-jin, Park Won-sik, Moon Si-un, and Choi Ji-myung.

Min-young co-produced the track and co-wrote the lyrics. She recorded chorus sessions and personally handled cameo casting. Eunji and Yuna weighed in on staff selection, planning, and overall production.

BBGIRLS debuted in 2011 and built their fanbase through the reverse-charting runs of Rollin' and Drive. They moved to global label GLG in 2024, released the single LOVE 2, dropped the Huimang Sahang remake, and held their first official fan meeting before this comeback.
