Choi Hee-jin joins Netflix high-teen drama 'Do Not Cross the Wall' alongside Moon Sang-min and Cynthia

Choi Hee-jin will lead Netflix original drama Do Not Cross the Wall, playing Kim Ri-ji, a transfer student at Jinwol Girls' High School who disrupts the school's obsession with studying. The character is a "love supremacist."

The series spans two schools—a boys' high school and a girls' high school—separated by a wall. Writer Lee Na-eun, who worked on Our Beloved Summer and Melo Movie, created it. Moon Sang-min, Cynthia, and Lee Min-jae round out the cast.

Choi Hee-jin graduated from the Korean National University of Arts' acting program and booked a commercial in 2017. Her credits include Snowdrop, Royal Roader, Hiphop-hage, Strong Girl Namsoon, and Idol: The Coup. She gained notice playing pet cat Sonya in More Beautiful Than Heaven. (ITZY's Yuna was considered for the Kim Ri-ji role before Choi Hee-jin landed it.) Casting is wrapping up, and the production is preparing to shoot.
