Oh Man-seok, Choi Kang-hee lead 'Closer' cast for Sept–Dec 2026 Seoul run
Play *Closer* returns to YES24 Stage 2 after selling out in 2024, this time with a 12-person ensemble that includes three theatre debuts.
Play Closer is coming back to YES24 Stage 2 in Seoul, running September 15 through December 6, 2026. Every performance sold out during its 2024 season.
The full cast is now confirmed. Oh Man-seok, Bae Su-bin, and Hong Woo-jin share the role of Larry. Anna goes to Choi Kang-hee, musical actor Lisa, and Jang Hee-jin. Hong Jong-hyun, Kang Young-seok, and Lee Do-yoon take on Dan, while Jeon Seong-min, So Ju-yeon, and Lee Na-eun play Alice.
Choi Kang-hee's casting stands out: this is her first stage play in 30 years since her debut. Hong Jong-hyun, Lee Do-yoon, and Lee Na-eun are all making their theatre debuts with this production.
Director Kim Ji-ho, who helmed the 2024 run, returns. Park Eun-hye revised the script and Kim Eun-ha handled the translation. Past Korean productions of Closer have featured Moon Geun-young, Eom Ki-joon, Park So-dam, Kim Seon-ho, Kim So-jin, and Seo Hyun-woo, among others. The 2024 season starred Lee Sang-yoon, Jin Seo-yeon, and Ahn So-hee.
