D AWARDS heads to Paris in January 2027 — first K-pop awards show in the EU

D AWARDS is moving to Paris. The third edition, officially D AWARDS 2027 in PARIS, takes place January 15–16, 2027 at Paris La Défense Arena. France's largest indoor venue holds over 40,000 people.

This makes D AWARDS the first K-pop awards show in the EU. The ceremony debuted in February 2025, with its second edition in February 2026 at Korea University's Hwajung Gymnasium in Seoul.

The structure splits into three tiers: the D AWARDS Black Label (Grand Prize), D AWARDS Delights Blue Label (main award), and D AWARDS Dreams Silver Label (Best New Artist). Eight award categories span these tiers, tracking K-pop trends and individual artist strengths.

ENHYPEN has dominated the ceremony so far. Album of the Year at the first D AWARDS, then Artist of the Year at the second. NCT WISH took Best New Artist at the first edition and Performance of the Year at the second.

Sports Donga and WSM co-host the Paris event. WSM and StoryPeak Global co-organize it. The official slogan reads: "Bringing dreams and delights to the world with our music." (The jump from a university gymnasium to 40,000 seats in Paris is substantial.)
