Hwang Chi Yeol wraps solo concert at Seoul Nodeul Island, title track hits No. 1

Hwang Chi Yeol's title track 우리, 여름 (Our Summer) hit No. 1 on domestic major music charts. Every track from his summer album I LOVE SUMMER charted at the same time. Even 별이 될게, which came out in April, re-entered the charts at the top.

On July 4, he brought that momentum to a live stage. The concert 2026 HWANG CHI YEOL CONCERT 우리, 여름 took place at Seoul Nodeul Island Live House. It was his first domestic concert in approximately 1 year and 4 months—the last one being The Special Re:boot in March of last year in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province. I LOVE SUMMER is also his debut summer album.

The setlist leaned on the new record. He performed 여름이 불어와 (Summer Drive), 여름에 말할게 (Love, Summer), 숨 참고 네 이름 (Breath), and 너를 아프게 하던 내가 제일 미워지는 밤이야 (Unsaid). Older songs made the cut too: 별이 될게, 웃기는 소리 같겠지만, and 매일 듣는 노래 (A Daily Song). He also threw in impromptu covers of 달팽이 and 삭제.

The two-show run featured surprise guests. Actor Um Moon-seok (음문석) joined the first session for 가로수 그늘 아래 서면 and 챔피언. Singer Jo Jae-jae (조째즈) appeared in the second session with 모르시나요 and 서울의 달.
