Singer Kim Sang-hyuk became Channel A's Groom School 2 first divorced single-parent contestant. He opened up about his tailor shop, health patch line, and bag business.

Singer Kim Sang-hyuk debuted on Channel A's Groom School 2 on July 16 as the show's first divorced single-parent student. The business numbers he shared were striking.
His tailor shop is where he designs clothing and personally made the suit Rain wore in a music video. He also runs a health patch production line and a bag business. Fellow entertainer Lee Seung-chul vouched for the bags on air: "He made that bag himself. I carry it around. I bought two. It's a pretty bag that I like."
On the financial side, Kim put his monthly revenue at "basically more than a large corporation's annual salary." He tied the hustle directly to his time out of the spotlight: "Entertainment work is not always available, and since I've experienced having no work, I need to consistently prepare for the future. It's because I'm anxious."
The Rain suit credit alone is a flex most idol-adjacent designers would kill for.
On why he joined the program, Kim said: "It's self-management to meet a good person. I really want to spend this moment with someone passionately. I felt that it should be precious and valuable."
