Kim Seon-ho's 'Gentleman' hits Netflix: 680K admissions, two best new actor awards

Gentleman (귀공자) opened in Korean theaters on June 21, 2023. Director Park Hun-jung's action film is now streaming on Netflix.

680,000 people saw it in theaters. The verified audience rating sits at 7.79 out of 10. Runtime is 118 minutes; it's rated unsuitable for viewers under 18.

Kim Seon-ho leads the cast alongside Kang Tae-ju, Kim Kang-woo, and Go Ara. Heo Jun-seok and Jung Ra-el round out the supporting roles. One verified viewer wrote: "Especially from the middle part, I could focus a lot on the acting and chase/action scenes of Kim Seon-ho and Kim Kang-woo."

The film became a major awards moment for Kim Seon-ho. He won Best New Male Actor at the 59th Grand Bell Film Awards in 2023. He also won the same award at the 32nd Buil Film Awards that year.

Kim Seon-ho was born May 8, 1986. He graduated from the Seoul Institute of the Arts, Department of Broadcasting and Entertainment. He debuted on stage in the play New Boeing Boeing in 2009, then made his drama debut in KBS2's Chief Kim in 2017.
