Musical actress Lee Ji-soo made her *Immortal Songs* debut on the July 4 special, performing Ahn Ye-eun's '상사화' to warm praise from castmates and MC Lee Chan-won.

Musical actress Lee Ji-soo made her Immortal Songs debut on episode 762, which aired July 4 on KBS 2TV as a special titled The Day We Sing (우리가 노래하는 그날).
The episode brought together the principal cast of Geu Naldeul (그날들), the musical built around the late Kim Kwang-seok's songs: Choi Jin-hyuk, Kim Jung-hyun, Sanduel, Park Gyu-won, and Lee Ji-soo. Seo Hyun-chul and Ko Chang-seok joined as special talkers.
MC Lee Chan-won's introduction stuck: "Youngest by age, but a senior in musical theater here." Lee Ji-soo has spent 15 years in the field. She first appeared on KBS2's Hello back in February 2011, at a time when she had never formally studied musical theater and trained entirely on her own.
For her song, Lee Ji-soo chose Sangsa-hwa (상사화) by Ahn Ye-eun, the OST from the drama Yeokjeok (역적). She wore a pure white dress she had prepared herself. Sanduel noticed before the cameras did: "I was passing by the waiting room and noticed she put full effort into her stage outfit." Lee Ji-soo's response — "I thought everyone does that for Immortal Songs" — landed.
Before she performed, she was honest. "I'm so nervous."
Kim Jung-hyun's take came right after: "If the original song feels desolate like a flower blooming in mud, this stage was like light reflecting in a winter snowstorm." MC Lee Chan-won added, "As Sanduel said, I was surprised by the stage outfit. The pure white dress brightened the stage."
Immortal Songs airs every Saturday at 6:05 PM on KBS 2TV.
