Lee So-ra's first non-OST single since 2019 arrives via composer Jannabi's Choi Jung-hoon. She opens up about a year-long illness and what it's done to her voice.

Lee So-ra is back with a new digital single, 너의 얼굴 다 잊을게 (Summer Breeze), her first original release outside of OSTs in approximately seven years — the last being 신청곡 (Feat. SUGA of BTS) in 2019.
The track depicts love on a summer night. Jannabi's Choi Jung-hoon composed it. Lee So-ra wrote the lyrics herself. She appeared on Sung Si Kyung's YouTube channel 성시경의 부를텐데 on July 7 to discuss the comeback.
On the lyrics, she was direct: "I cannot make up love stories. I imagined a feeling of actually liking someone. I wrote the lyrics while creating love and breakup alone." She described herself as "a solitary and lonely person who doesn't go out much." Years of thinking alone at home brought her to a place where she could imagine entire relationships in her head. "Being alone is not entirely comfortable. It's lonely but that's also difficult. I pour solitude and loneliness into my songs."
The comeback comes after a serious health scare. Lee So-ra revealed she lost several tens of kilograms due to illness that began in early 2025 and lasted over a year. Asked about her voice, she didn't sugarcoat it: "Going forward it seems difficult to sing with focus like before. I lack energy."
Seven years between original songs is a long gap. The honesty about her health makes this release land differently.
