Lisénne's August 2024 track 'Love Attack' hit No. 1 on Melon roughly two years later, on July 12, 2026.

러브 어택 (Love Attack) reached No. 1 on Melon's Top 100 on July 12, 2026. The track had been out since August 2024 — nearly two years — before it first hit the top spot on July 8.
It didn't stop there. Album cuts 데자부 (Deja Vu) and 런어웨이 (Runaway) charted alongside it, the kind of full-catalog lift that signals something real rather than a one-song blip. July 8 was also when Lisénne dropped Pretty Girl, a remake of KARA's hit. The timing almost certainly pulled attention back to the older material. Member 원이 (Wonyi) runs a personal channel called '안녕하세요원이입니다잘부탁드립니다', which has kept the group visible between releases.
Lisénne's moment fits into a longer K-pop pattern. EXID released 위아래 in October 2014 and broke through only after member Hani's direct-cam video went viral, eventually landing hits like 아예 (AH YEAH), 낮보다는 밤, and 알러뷰. The group marked their 10th debut anniversary with album X in 2022, though members had been pursuing solo and acting work since 2020. Brave Girls' 롤린 came out in 2017 and followed the same delayed arc. They later scored chart and music-show No. 1s with 치맛바람 and landed on Melon's annual chart. Their contract with Brave Entertainment ended after 2022's 땡큐 (Thank You) promotions. They relaunched under the name 브브걸 (BBGirls) — though member Yujung departed in 2024, leaving the unit as a trio.
(Three groups, same lesson: staying visible long enough for the algorithm to find you is its own strategy.)
