NOWZ to perform at 2026 TIMA in Hong Kong on Aug. 22, August comeback in the works

NOWZ — Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyoon — will perform at the 2026 TMElive International Music Awards (TIMA) on August 22 at Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium. The ceremony spans two days, August 22 and 23. The group takes the stage on day one.

TIMA launched last year under Tencent Music Entertainment (TME), China's largest music platform. The Hong Kong booking makes sense: NOWZ's pre-release track 자유롭게 날아 (Feat. YUQI) from their 2025 debut mini album IGNITION hit #1 on QQ Music's daily new song chart. It entered iTunes Top Songs charts across Hong Kong and other regions, then landed in the top tier of both QQ Music's Korean music video chart and Douyin's challenge chart.

Before Hong Kong, the group performs at the 2026 Ocean World Blue Splash summer festival on August 2. Ocean World is marking its 20th anniversary.

The agency says NOWZ is ramping up work on a new album aimed at an August comeback. They also just signed their first advertising deal, opening up a commercial side to their schedule. A lot happening for a group that debuted last year.
