The animated film 'David' has released a music video for its duet featuring Park Bo-gum as adult David and Cha Ji-yeon as his mother Nitzevet. The film is now playing nationwide through Lotte Entertai

The animated film David dropped a music video for its duet track Naye Junim (Why God My God), performed by Park Bo-gum and Cha Ji-yeon.
Directed by Phil Cunningham and Brent Doss, the film traces an ordinary shepherd named David from his mother's lullaby through his confrontation with Goliath. The MV splits between two emotional worlds: David's despair as he flees into the wilderness after the prophet Samuel chooses him, hunted by King Saul's jealous rage, and his mother Nitzevet's interior life, pushing her son not to surrender hope even when everything collapses.
Park Bo-gum voices adult David, capturing the anxiety of someone hunted, alone. Lines like "왜 저를 버리시나요" ("Why do you abandon me") and "광야로 갑니다" ("I go to the wilderness") carry the weight of a man crowned king but cornered by death. Cha Ji-yeon, as Nitzevet, answers with a deep vocal that holds faith where no path is visible. The song trades lines between them like an actual conversation—son's despair against mother's unbroken hope.
Naye Junim compresses the entire emotional arc between David and Nitzevet into a single track. Cha Ji-yeon said: "This song is all the more moving because a mother's love is fully contained within it. I hope many people look forward to it."
The Korean dub cast also includes Jang Gwang, Song Jun-seok, and Si Yeong-jun. David is now in theaters nationwide through Lotte Entertainment.
