RESCENE's August 2024 debut track hit No. 1 on Melon's TOP100 on July 8, 2026—nearly two years after it flopped on release.
LOVE ATTACK didn't chart when RESCENE dropped it in August 2024. By 10 PM on July 8, 2026, it was No. 1 on the Melon TOP100.
Two years between release and the top spot. Won-i's dialect "gyaru" concept spreading across SNS is what pulled the track back.
The five members—Won-i, Rib, Minami, Mei, and Jena—found out in real time and went live in pajamas to tell their fandom, Rimind. Won-i had been asleep. "I have to go to work in 1 hour, so my face isn't ready, but I came anyway because we got 1st place." The members added, "It's all thanks to Rimind. We will do better and work harder."
That same day, RESCENE released a remake digital single Pretty Girl—originally recorded by KARA in 2008, making it an 18-year-old track. On the July 9 broadcast, the group performed it for the first time. KARA's Nicole showed up to perform alongside them.
