RISENNÉ swept every scoring category to beat two male groups. Their 2024 debut track *Love Attack* hit No. 1 on Melon's Top 100.
RISENNÉ took their first-ever music broadcast first-place trophy. They swept the top score in every category — music source, official platform fan activity, and real-time voting — to beat two competing male groups.
The win arrived alongside a chart resurrection. Love Attack, the title track from their 2024 mini-album debut, had been sitting in the catalogue until a meme cycle pulled it back into circulation. On July 14 it hit No. 1 on Melon's Top 100. Their new single album's title track, Pretty Girl, released on the 8th, is a remake of a KARA song from 18 years ago. An industry source noted that RISENNÉ "stimulated people in their 30s and 40s who are familiar with this song without excessive arrangement."
Two members drove the meme pipeline. Minami, a Japanese member, adopted a gyaru concept. During a trip to Geoje she made an inverted V-shape with her hand and shouted "Yaho." The collision of Japanese gyaru culture with Geoje local flavor turned into a viral moment. Won-i, a Geoje native, runs the YouTube channel 안녕하세요원이입니다잘부탁드립니다. It racked up 245.6 million cumulative views within five months of opening — with zero RISENNÉ music videos on it, just variety content. She also ran live broadcasts for over seven hours a day and spent 11 months doing driving lessons with an uncle-type instructor as a YouTube concept.
(The Muse Entertainment only completed its Series A funding last month, so all of this is happening at a very early stage.)
The label said "the number of people supporting RISENNÉ is growing with each activity" and promised to "repay that support with good music and performances."
