Im Young-woong's variety show hit #1 in the 20-49 demo for three straight weeks and cracked Netflix's top 10. SBS is adding an episode.

SBS confirmed a one-episode extension for 산골총각 영웅 (Sangol Chonggak Yeong-ung), pushing the total from six episodes to seven. The network cited overwhelming viewer support.
The ratings tell the story. The show dominated the 20-49 age demographic for three consecutive weeks among Tuesday variety programs, hitting #1 each time. Per-minute peak viewership reached 6.5%. It landed on Netflix TOP10 right after its first broadcast and climbed to 4th place.
Im Young-woong ranked 2nd in GoodData Corporation's FUNdex non-drama cast popularity ranking. This is effectively a second season of 섬총각 영웅 (Seomchonggak Yeong-ung), his first fixed variety program. (Past guests include comedian 허경환, actor 현봉식, and singer 조째즈.)
The production team said: "We plan to capture various episodes unfolding in the mountains with greater density, so we ask for your continued anticipation."
Next week brings new faces. 곽범 (Kwak Beom), 넉살 (Nucksal), and 로이킴 (Roy Kim) join as the 'NEW 산총각즈.' Coming episodes will feature 차승원 (Cha Seung-won) and actor 김도훈 (Kim Do-hoon), who previously worked together on the 삼시세끼 series. Sangol Chonggak Yeong-ung airs every Tuesday at 9 PM.
Meanwhile, Im has a stadium concert coming. 아임 히어로-더 스타디움2 (I'm HERO - The Stadium 2) runs three days starting September 4 at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. It's his second stadium concert, following a previous run at a World Cup stadium. Tickets go on sale July 16 at 8 PM via NOL Ticket.
