Super Junior's Leeteuk in highway rear-end collision; receiving daily physical therapy
SUPER JUNIOR's Leeteuk was hit from behind on a highway while driving his Porsche Taycan GTS. He suffered neck and back injuries; the car sustained roughly 14 million won in damage.
SUPER JUNIOR leader Leeteuk (Park Jung-soo, 42) was rear-ended on a highway while driving his newly purchased Porsche Taycan GTS. The car had approximately 800 km on it at the time.
The impact tore up the rear of the vehicle. Repair costs came to roughly 14 million won. "It felt like being hit all over my body with a hammer," Leeteuk said of the collision.
Neck and lower back pain followed. He's in physical therapy every day.
Leeteuk debuted with SUPER JUNIOR in 2005 on Super Junior05. The group includes Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, and Sungmin. They've put out Sorry, Sorry, Mr. Simple, BONAMANA, and Sexy, Free & Single. The SUPER SHOW world tour series is still running. Their latest studio album, Super Junior25, marked 20 years and stands as their 12th full-length record.
He also records with SUPER JUNIOR-L.S.S., a sub-unit with Shindong and Siwon. That group released CEREMONY, Let's Standing Show, and PON PON. On screen, he appeared as a karaoke owner in the 2024 drama DNA 러버 (DNA Lover). Earlier he had cameos in Dream High, 몽땅 내 사랑, and 술꾼도시여자들. He's been the sole DJ on Super Junior's Kiss the Radio, a long-running radio show.
