Jihyo drops *Distant Lover* with Jamaican artist Shenseea on July 10—her third global feature in three months.

TWICE's Jihyo released Distant Lover, a collaborative single with Jamaican singer-songwriter Shenseea, on July 10.
The track sits in Afrobeats-rooted R&B territory, built around a "situationship"—that grey zone between lovers and friends. It carries a lazy, sticky groove with heavy bass and an unhurried rhythm. Jihyo's vocals are plain yet stable. Shenseea brings her signature dancehall style. She's worked with Kanye West and Megan Thee Stallion before.
This marks Jihyo's third international collab in as many months. In May she appeared on Jenevieve's Hvnly (feat. JIHYO of TWICE). In June she sang on French Montana x LUDMILLA x JIHYO (TWICE) x Adriana C x RedOne - Follow Me, a 2026 FIFA World Cup collaboration. Three global features in three months.
The release lands the same day TWICE opened the encore leg of their sixth world tour, THIS IS FOR, at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul. July 10 through 12, all three dates sold out in 360-degree seating. The Seoul run closes a tour that covered 44 cities across 81 shows.
Across all six world tours from TWICELAND: The Opening (2017) through THIS IS FOR (2025–2026), TWICE has played 188 concerts in 59 regions—the most regions and most shows by a K-pop girl group in solo touring history. The sixth tour alone saw them become the first K-pop girl group to perform at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium. They drew 550,000 in North America, the most for a K-pop girl group on a North America tour. They became the first K-pop group and first overseas act to hold a solo concert at Tokyo's National Stadium, pulling 240,000 over three days. TWICE is in their 11th year since debut.
