Yoon Yeo-jung earned a Supporting Actress nod at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards for playing a billionaire chairman in Netflix's *Griselda* Season 2.

Yoon Yeo-jung is in the running for an Emmy. The Television Academy announced nominees for the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards on July 8, and Yoon landed a bid in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category.
She's nominated for Griselda Season 2—the Netflix series known in Korean as 성난 사람들2—where she plays Park, a billionaire Korean chairman who just acquired a country club. Song Kang-ho made a special appearance as Dr. Kim. The two played a couple despite their age gap, a pairing that drew significant attention.
The show racked up nominations across the board: Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, lead actress (Carey Mulligan), lead actor (Oscar Isaac), supporting actor (Charles Melton), plus casting, contemporary costumes, directing, and editing. Melton, nominated for supporting actor, is of Korean-American mixed heritage. Korean-American director Lee Sung-jin helmed the season, with portions filmed in Korea.
Season 1 swept eight Emmy Awards in 2024, including the series prize and both lead acting categories. Steven Yeun took home Outstanding Lead Actor that year.
Yoon won the Academy Award for Minari in 2021, becoming the first Korean actor to win an Oscar. Lee Jung-jae, lead of Squid Game, won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2022.
The 78th Emmy Awards ceremony is set for September 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
