aespa's Giselle Posts Tokyo Snapshot Mid-World Tour

On August 22, Giselle posted a photo to social media. It showed her walking down an indoor corridor in Tokyo, captioned simply "tomodachis and me." The group was mid-run on SYNK : COMPL∆XITY, aespa's fourth world tour spanning 25 regions, which kicked off with a solo concert at Seoul's Gocheok Dome.

Tokyo is home territory for Giselle (Kim Ae-ri, 25). Born in Seoul, she grew up there and attended international school, picking up Korean, English, and Japanese. She's been a main rapper and sub-vocalist in aespa since the November 2020 debut single Black Mamba.

aespa has been moving fast in 2026. They dropped their second full-length album LEMONADE and followed it with their first Japanese mini-album KISS N TELL on July 24. The world tour has already hit Seoul and Taipei. São Paulo, Santiago, Mexico, Canada, and the United States are still coming. Twenty-five regions is a lot of airports.

Giselle's direct-cam footage for Whiplash and Dopamine has drawn attention this cycle. Her discography also includes Next Level, Savage, Girls, Drama, Supernova, Dirty Work, and Rich Man. The Tokyo corridor photo reads as a rare quiet moment between stops.
