ALPHADRIVEWON's Sang-won confirmed as 'Show! Music Core' MC alongside BOYNEXTDOOR's Sung-ho
Two 2003-born idols will co-host MBC's Saturday music show. For Sang-won, it's his first fixed MC role on a music broadcast.
ALPHADRIVEWON's Sang-won is the new MC for MBC's Show! Music Core, joining BOYNEXTDOOR's Sung-ho on the Saturday slot. Both were born in 2003.
This is Sang-won's first fixed music broadcast MC position. He's done special MC work on SBS Inkigayo and at Mnet KCON since debuting with ALPHADRIVEWON. Before that came Trainee A, a BIGHIT MUSIC group under HIVE whose debut was cancelled in December 2022. He then competed in Mnet Boys Planet, placing 1st overall and debuting as ALPHADRIVEWON's center. During the show he ranked first in the rank battle, position battle, and debut concept battle.
Sung-ho's BOYNEXTDOOR is under KOZ Entertainment, also a HIVE label. The pairing connects both idols to the same corporate umbrella, though they came up through different routes. They replace UBLE's Kim Gyu-bin and TOURS' Do-hun, who co-hosted from March last year through the 22nd.
Show! Music Core has aired every Saturday on MBC since 2005.
