Back on air after two months, the comedian and radio host opened up about newborn life, her eldest son's jealousy, and ATEEZ's San.

An Yeong-mi returned to MBC FM4U's 두시의 데이트 안영미입니다 on August 26, roughly two months after going on maternity leave following her June 21 broadcast. Her second son was born in Seoul on June 25. Guest DJs filled in during her absence.
She spoke candidly about the chaos of raising a newborn alongside a toddler. "It's harder to pay attention to my first child's emotions than the physical difficulty," she said. "My first child was a bit jealous, and I worry he might be hurt by one word I say — so I have to care about those emotions too. It feels like running two households at the same time."
On a lighter note, she confirmed she'd recently stopped breastfeeding and joked about an Instagram video she'd posted of herself dancing to ATEEZ's "BAD" during that period. Her body had changed since then. "It was there and now it's not, so it feels a bit empty," she said.
Listeners had spotted scarring on her hands. Housewife's eczema, she explained. It started in early pregnancy, and she couldn't treat it while pregnant or breastfeeding. She can now. (Small wins.)
Watching ATEEZ member San dance pulled her out of full mom-brain mode, the 1983-born comedian added. "Before, I saw all idols as my sons," she said. "But when I saw San dance, my heart suddenly started racing. I felt alive."
An Yeong-mi married a non-celebrity working at a foreign company in 2020. Her first son was born in the United States in 2023; the couple maintains a long-distance arrangement between Korea and the US.
