As One's Lee Min: one year since her passing at 46

August 5 is the one-year anniversary of As One member Lee Min's death.

Lee Min — birth name Lee Min-young (이민영), born in 1978 — was found dead at her home on August 5, 2025, at age 46. Her husband discovered her after returning from work and called it in. Brand New Music released a statement: "We are all in great shock and sadness at this sudden news."

Two months earlier, in June 2025, she had released the single 축하해 생일 ("Happy Birthday"). That May she appeared on KBS 2TV's 더 시즌즈-박보검의 칸타빌레, performing as a featured artist on a new song by comedians 문세윤 and 한해. Her final recorded track, 다만 널 사랑하고 있을 뿐이야, arrived in September 2025 through Brand New Music.

Lee Min debuted as part of As One with member Crystal (크리스탈) in November 1999 on the group's first album Day By Day. The duo became known for R&B hits: 원하고 원망하죠, 천만에요, 너만은 모르길, 사랑+, Mr. A-Jo. As One paused in 2017, returned in 2019 with the 20th-anniversary single 애써, and released new material including Still My Baby.

She married a Korean man two years her senior in Hawaii in November 2013. (Her husband was also the one who found her that night — a detail that makes the anniversary hit differently.)
