On August 4, BBGIRLS leader Min-young shared wedding dress photos to her personal account. She tagged them as behind-the-scenes from a wedding magazine pictorial—one month after the group released BODY WAVE on July 16.
Min-young sings and dances as the trio's center, working alongside Eunji and Yuna. She co-produced BODY WAVE, writing songs and laying down the chorus. She also hand-picked the music video's cameos, which feature broadcasters and musicians. The multi-hyphenate energy is very on-brand for her.
Her road to BBGIRLS took years. She debuted in 2013 with co-ed group Habitoo, then returned to music in 2016 through Brave Girls' single 변했어. The group is signed to GLG and BBGIRLS Company. Their releases include Rollin' and 치맛바람, both of which charted through reverse-charting runs and landed music broadcast No. 1 finishes.
Beyond the group, Min-young appeared on MBC's Mystery Music Show Mask King in 2024 under the alias '삼바', making it to round 2. She also guested on JTBC's Han Moon-chul's Black Box Review in 2025. She runs her own YouTube channel, 민영타임 Minyoung Time, handling planning and editing herself. Her official fandom is called '쁘이'.
