BIGBANG is now the Korea Aerospace Administration's first promotional ambassador, complete with a new single, fan space project, and 33-show world tour.

BIGBANG was appointed inaugural promotional ambassador of the Korea Aerospace Administration on August 14. They're the first act to hold the role since the agency launched in 2024.
The group will promote the future vision and major policies of Korean aerospace to the public. Projects span from the fifth Nuri rocket launch—scheduled for the second half of 2026—through to lunar exploration.
The 'Dream Capsule' project sits at the heart of the partnership. Fan messages and memories submitted via BIGBANG's 20th debut anniversary micro website get converted into code images and loaded onto Nuri 5 for launch into space. The submission site opened August 14 at 10:00 AM, collecting stories from V.I.P fans worldwide.
BIGBANG dropped solo visual photos for the new digital single BiiiG through official social channels on the 14th. The single releases on August 19—the group's exact 20th debut anniversary date—in the afternoon.
Three days later, on August 21, a concert run at Goyang Sports Complex kicks off a world tour themed around space. Nineteen cities across North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. Thirty-three total performances. (Twenty years in and they're literally sending fan messages to orbit.)
The group said they are "honored to be together as the inaugural promotional ambassador in the new history of Korean aerospace."
