Dani (Park Hyuk-jin) releases self-written single 'Jigeuмbuteo Yeongwonkkaji'

Singer-songwriter Dani (Park Hyuk-jin) released her new single 지금부터 영원까지 (From Now to Forever) on August 8 at noon through Danal Entertainment's global music platform AURORA. The track reached domestic and international online music sites across 249 countries.

Dani wrote, composed, and arranged the track herself. The song frames itself as a promise to spend a lifetime with a loved one—a wedding song for couples preparing for marriage and a summer love song. Unchanging love, gratitude toward a precious person, and the wish to walk together forever all thread through the same verse. The lyric excerpt reads: "To the end of our lives / 지금부터 영원까지 너의 손을 잡고서 / 온기 하나 잃지 않게 네 곁에 머무를게요."

Eight years have passed since her 2018 debut alongside Rin on 여름감기. She built out her catalog through multiple drama OSTs, including tvN's 슬기로운 의사생활, before dropping two 2022 releases: New York, a collaboration with K (케이) of Lovelyz, and the self-composed 나의 나름으로는. That 2022 run showed she could hold her own as a songwriter. This new single doubles down on that.
