HYNN drops 7-track EP '여름결' on Aug 13, solo concert set for Yonsei University

HYNN (박혜원) is back. EP 여름결 lands August 13 at 6 PM across online music platforms. Two title tracks pull in opposite directions sonically.

3일 후 is a breakup ballad built on 1990s R&B, produced by Jooho (주호) and Rohigh (로하이). The second title, 운석이 떨어져 종말이 찾아온 것도 아닌데, swings toward pop R&B with a refined, trend-forward sound. The seven-track record also includes 어떤 이방인, which HYNN wrote and composed herself, and 주인공 연습, pre-released back in May. Producers Jooho, Rohigh, and KZ all have credits on the album.

Two MVs arrive on separate dates. The 3일 후 video goes live August 13 alongside the EP, directed by the sole director at Cape Splat (케이프스플래닛), described as a "master of B-grade sensibility content." HYNN's rain-scene acting pairs with a dance performance by Yoon Hyukjung (윤혁중), known as the "dance idol" of Mnet survival show Stage Fighter. The second MV, for 운석이 떨어져 종말이 찾아온 것도 아닌데, drops August 18 at 6 PM, directed by Kwon Jaeheon (권재헌) and featuring dancer Choi Hojong (최호종) — billed as the "icon of K-dance" — who also handled choreography direction alongside dancer Ahn Yujin (안유진).

Two days after the EP release, HYNN takes the stage at Yonsei University Grand Hall for Midnight Blue : Luna-rium on August 15 and 16. A full live band backs the shows with fully rearranged versions of existing tracks. New EP songs will be performed live for the first time there.
