IVE's 'LUCID DREAM' earns Japan Record Association platinum with 250K+ shipments
IVE's fourth Japanese album 'LUCID DREAM' has crossed 250,000 cumulative shipments to earn platinum certification from the Japan Record Association.
LUCID DREAM, released in May 2026, hit platinum status with the Japan Record Association after accumulating 250,000 units in shipments.
The album debuted at No. 1 on Oricon's weekly combined album ranking—IVE's third time at the top—and also claimed No. 1 on the weekly album ranking alone. LUCID DREAM reached No. 1 on Billboard Japan's weekly album sales chart as well. First-week sales landed at 120,000 copies, the year's highest for any overseas female artist.
The release coincided with IVE's second world tour SHOW WHAT I AM. Their Japan dome run spanned Kyocera Dome Osaka and Tokyo Dome, drawing 127,000 attendees combined—a new personal record. The group performed on NHK's Venue 101, TBS's CDTV Live! Live!, Nippon TV's THE MUSIC DAY, and TBS variety show Let's Have Them Do It to Snow Man SP. They were the only K-pop act on TV Asahi's Music Station 1500th Anniversary Summer 2-Hour Special.
IVE continues domestic and international activities with their ongoing world tour.
