Jung Ilhoon drops 'Devil Can Wait,' online showcase draws 10,000 viewers

Jung Ilhoon is back. The 31-year-old former BTOB main rapper released Devil Can Wait on May 8th across music platforms, then hosted an online live showcase that same night at 11 PM.

The showcase ran 75 minutes and drew 10,000 cumulative viewers globally. That's a solid number—his solo fanbase clearly stuck with him past the group era.

Devil Can Wait arrives after a sprint of solo releases. He put out singles moonwalk and jamesdean in 2025, plus the album The Adam. Before that: Lullaby in 2024, the digital single Spoiler, and a songwriting and composition credit on Nion's Door. His first proper solo project was the 2018 mini-album Big wave, where he wrote and produced every track, including title track She's gone. He also self-composed Fancy Shoes for the project album Piece of BTOB Vol.2 in 2017.

Ilhoon debuted March 21, 2012, with BTOB's first single album. He was a fixed cast member on MBC every1's 주간 아이돌 from 2013 to 2015 and later became a regular DJ on MBC Standard FM's IDOL RADIO, where he earned the nickname "Rungdi" (룽디).
