Episode 3 of SBS dating reality show 'My Remaining Romance' aired Aug 17. Kang Min-young's bucket list date: wear school uniform, eat instant tteokbokki with Kim Seon-ho.

Kim Seon-ho and Kang Min-young's camcorder footage stopped Jung Yong-hwa mid-sentence. "It's so much like a music video," he said. Choi Ye-na nodded in agreement.
The footage came from episode 3 of SBS dating reality show 내 남은 연애 (My Remaining Romance), which aired August 17. Eight men and women who have each survived life-threatening illness participate in the dating format. Day 3 centered on bucket list dates built around what the women wanted. Kang Min-young's wish was simple but loaded: wear school uniforms on a first date with Kim Seon-ho, then eat instant tteokbokki together.
She explained why. In middle school, her legs hurt so badly she couldn't stay to eat tteokbokki with friends—she had to go straight home. "I wanted to wear a school uniform, eat instant tteokbokki, and make a memory," she said. Kim Seon-ho listened. "After hearing that story, I wanted to do my best. I wanted to create an unforgettable memory."
The two filmed each other on a camcorder throughout the date. That footage is what left Jung Yong-hwa and Choi Ye-na stunned. Choi Ye-na had already sensed something before the date even started: "It's cute. It suits them well. I'm curious about this date."
Getting there took work. Kim Seon-ho admitted he "had no idea how to date." Kang Min-young had been the one pushing conversation—asking him about egg rolls and grocery shopping just to get him talking. Jung Yong-hwa watched the camcorder footage back and sang NewJeans' Ditto. (A camcorder date that ends with a Ditto singalong is a very specific kind of television.)
