Lee Bo-young and Kang Tae-oh cast in ENA's 'Divorce Investigation Officer Hong Mal-geum'

Lee Bo-young and Kang Tae-oh are set to lead Divorce Investigation Officer Hong Mal-geum, an ENA drama scheduled for the first half of next year. It marks their first collaboration.

Lee Bo-young plays Hong Mal-geum, a family court investigator abandoned by a husband she wanted to kill. She raises three children alone and now investigates messy family law cases, searching for truth and reconciliation. The show draws on real cases and dilemmas that family court investigators face.

Kang Tae-oh plays lawyer Charles Kim (김철수). Flashy designer suits. A brightly colored Ferrari. A 100% win rate. He's driven purely by money—hidden family circumstances fuel the obsession—not honor or truth. That puts him directly at odds with Hong Mal-geum's world.

For Kang Tae-oh, it's a return to ENA five years after Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022). That show opened at 0.9% viewership and climbed to 17.5% by its finale.
