Lee El opens up about 7 years single in YouTube video

Lee El posted the second episode of her YouTube series 무허가살롱 — subtitled 40대 우아하지 않아! ("Your 40s Aren't Graceful!") — on her channel 이엘저엘 on August 28.

In the video, the 44-year-old actor confirmed she has not been in a relationship for seven years. "It's been so long since I've been in a relationship," she said. "It's already 7 years."

She described what she misses most: not someone to fix her problems, but someone to simply listen. "When I have work issues, there are times you want to lean on someone — not asking for help to resolve anything, just someone to hear my story and lend me their shoulder."

She also spoke about how rare it feels to have unconditional support. "Someone who can say, whatever others say, 'I love this person' — that kind of person is hard to find. Precious."

Lee El debuted in 2009 with the MBC drama 잘했군 잘했어 and has since appeared in the film 내부자들 and dramas 도깨비 and 나의 해방일지. (She recently returned to the 도깨비 universe as a special guest on tvN's 20th anniversary edition 도깨비 10주년 여행.)
