ASTRO's MJ plays dual roles in a concept trailer for his debut single album 'Right..?', arriving August 19.
MJ's first single album Right..? drops August 19 across online music platforms. The concept trailer, posted to his official YouTube channel on August 6, is doing heavy work.
He plays two characters at once: Myungjun (his real name), a contestant entering a 'Solo House' to find his destiny, and an MC watching from behind a screen. In the narrative, Myungjun uses a sweet voice and data analysis to build courage for a direct date request. He ends up eating alone at what the video calls a 'solitude set meal,' no answer received. Both characters turn to the camera and ask, "Is this right?" (이거 맞아요?). The trailer closes on that wry note.
This marks MJ's first solo release. He previewed the track live on August 1 at The Hangout, his first-ever solo fan meeting. Ten years after his debut. (Ten years in and the first solo fan meeting — the timing is not subtle.)
