Netflix greenlights 'Do Not Cross the Wall,' a high-teen romance comedy starring Moon Sangmin, Shin Sia, Lee Minjae, and Choi Heejin. Announcement came August 20.

Netflix confirmed production of Do Not Cross the Wall (담을 넘지 마시오) on August 20, 2026. The same day brought news of its four leads.
Moon Sangmin plays Lee Chiwon, student council president at the elite Jinwol Boys High School and a model student everyone trusts. Shin Sia takes So Ran, student council president of Jinwol Girls High School and broadly popular with her peers. Lee Minjae is Gong Suho, a rival to Lee Chiwon with a love-hate dynamic who approaches So Ran for reasons yet to be revealed. Choi Heejin rounds out the cast as Kim Riji, a bright transfer student at Jinwol Girls High School and So Ran's roommate.
The premise: two elite schools separated by a single wall. Dating is an expulsion-level offense. An old urban legend warns that crossing the wall brings consequences. (Nineteen-year-olds, forbidden love, and a literal wall — the setup writes itself.)
Director Lee Suhyun previously worked on Eunmilhan Gamsa, Geunomsun Heuryeomnyong, and Byeolttongbyeol. Writer Lee Naeun's credits include the Netflix series Melo Movie and the drama Our Beloved Summer.
Moon Sangmin appeared in the Netflix film Pavane and dramas Eunaeha-neun Dojeoknim-a and Under the Queen's Umbrella. Shin Sia is known for Someday or One Day (the medical drama) and The Witch Part 2. The Other One. Lee Minjae appeared in Netflix's Weak Hero Class 2 and One Dollar Lawyer. Choi Heejin has credits in More Beautiful Than Heaven and Idol: The Coup.
The series will stream exclusively on Netflix. Release date and further details coming later.
