On the August 8 episode of MBC's Omniscient Interfering View (전지적 참견 시점, ep. 410), the girl group looked back at their trainee years—and how close they came to falling apart. May was blunt about it: "I couldn't see hope, so I even thought about leaving the team."
Won-i went to May's parents herself to convince them. She showed up in person. That doesn't happen often, even in trainee stories.
Won-i had her own crisis. She believed "only the rich could be idols" until the company representative stepped in at the moment she was ready to quit. He told her later he found it "amazing that the members came to our company" and said he was grateful for them.
