Stray Kids top Billboard 200 for the 9th time, setting 21st-century group record

Stray Kids now own nine Billboard 200 number-one albums. THIS & THAT, their new mini album, landed at the top of the August 22, 2026 chart. Every single one of their nine Billboard 200 entries has debuted at number one.

No other act in the chart's history has done that. Nine consecutive number-one debuts. Across 1,604 days, from ODDINARY on April 2, 2022 through THIS & THAT on August 22, 2026. The Beatles hold more number-one albums on the Billboard 200 with 19. Among groups that have charted in the 21st century, Stray Kids are now at the top.

The title track also posted a personal best on the Hot 100, landing at number 38 on the same August 22 date.

With ATE, the group tied rapper DMX's record of five consecutive number-one debuts before pushing past it.

Stray Kids debuted in 2018 and have built the streak with production anchored by in-house team 3RACHA—Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. The run has come alongside a heavy live schedule. The group wrapped their largest-ever world tour, dominATE, in 2025, then headlined Lollapalooza Paris, Lollapalooza Chicago, i-Days, British Summer Time Hyde Park, and The Governors Ball Music Festival this year.

More dates are ahead. Rock in Rio in Brazil awaits in September 2026, followed by appearances at STRAYCITY, a new festival running in Bogotá, Buenos Aires, and Mexico City.
