Stray Kids' tenth mini album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 dated Aug. 22, selling 369K units in its first week — the group's best ever.
Stray Kids now have a perfect record on the Billboard 200: nine charting releases, nine number-one debuts.
THIS & THAT, the group's tenth mini album, landed at #1 on the chart dated August 22 with a career-high first-week total of 369,000 units. Physical copies accounted for 357,000 of those.
The timing matters. Groups chasing Billboard numbers have settled on Friday 1 PM KST as their launch window. BTS dropped ARIRANG on Friday, March 20 at 1 PM KST. ENHYPEN released mini album 8 THE SIN : BLISS on August 21 at 1 PM KST (their previous mini, THE SIN : VANISH, came out January 16 at 2 PM KST). SM acts operate differently. Red Velvet's Velvet Summer came out Monday, August 3 at 6 PM KST, and NCT 127's seventh regular album BLINGY followed on Monday, August 24 at 6 PM KST—a domestic chart-friendly window that prioritizes Korean streaming peaks over the Billboard week-start advantage.
For Stray Kids, the 9-for-9 milestone stands alone. No other group has done it.
