Mnet and tvN's new choreographer competition show premieres Aug 18 at 10 PM, with pre-release content already surpassing 100 million views.

Street World Fighter: Directors War hits Mnet and tvN on August 18 at 10 PM KST. Before a single episode aired, teaser content across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram crossed 100 million cumulative views. The main trailer and matchup reveal video on The CHOOM YouTube channel each cleared 2 million views individually.
This is the first individual-competition format in the Street Woman Fighter franchise. It runs as a mixed-gender season with no gender brackets. Ten choreographers compete for a "Director Credit" — essentially their name on a K-pop performance. The first mission: the 1:1 Signature Mission, where each competitor has exactly 2 hours to recreate and claim their opponent's signature choreography.
The matchups: Shimizu vs. Renan (fighting over aespa's Whiplash). Baek Gu-young vs. Casper (former SM collaborators, now opponents). Hash vs. Jung Min-jun. Nine vs. Baby Joo. The one drawing the most attention is Bada vs. Ingyu, with Smoke and like JENNIE — the choreographies that made each of them — on the line.
Ingyu came ready. On Bada's iconic Smoke lighter move: "I should erase it from the start." Asked about strategy, Ingyu said, "The strategy is becoming crazy?" Shimizu responded with "Wow, a crazy person appeared" and Nine called it "fresh shock." Bada kept it measured: "It will be difficult, but I should properly defeat Ingyu and move forward."
The first OST, Rockstarr, features TXT's Yeonjun and Kim Ye-ji. It was produced in two versions — male and female — to match the mixed-gender format. It drops August 18 at 6 PM KST, four hours before the premiere.
