Yoon Jae-chan drops '아웅다웅', a song he held for 5 years, as acting slate expands
Yoon Jae-chan, 25 and formerly of XRO, dropped solo track '아웅다웅' on August 6. He'd been holding onto it for five years.
Former XRO member Yoon Jae-chan, 25, released his new solo track 아웅다웅 on August 6, announcing it alongside the single's cover art.
"The song '아웅다웅' that had been in my treasure box for 5 years has finally been released," he wrote. "Please listen to it a lot. Thank you to everyone who helped."
The release lands as Yoon stacks up acting roles. He's appearing in the SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama 오늘도 매진했습니다, tvN's 세이렌, and MBC's 판사 이한영 in 2026. On film, he's making his big-screen debut in 살목지 as Seong-bin opposite Kim Hye-yoon.
(Five years is a long time to hold a song — the choice to keep it rather than bury it says something.)
