Five years after his last appearance, Choi San returned to SBS Running Man on Sept. 13 to perform 'BAD' and answer a very direct question about his income.

Choi San walked back onto Running Man on September 13 — five years since his last appearance — and the cast greeted him with "You've returned triumphantly. You've come back as a star." Hard to argue.
He performed the BAD choreography while wearing the 'Bukbu Daegong' team outfit, giving the cast a live look at the routine fueling ATEEZ's current run. Yoo Jae-suk's verdict: "The makeup, San's expression, and choreography harmonized well." Kim Jong-kook kept it simple. "And in addition, San's physique."
Ji Seok-jin asked Choi San whether money had been coming in lately. San's answer — "Oh, very much so" — was brief enough to be a meme and honest enough to confirm what the BAD numbers already suggested. Ji Seok-jin followed up with unsolicited financial advice: "You should save money at times like this."
San turned reflective when the conversation shifted to the song's reception. "I thought fans would like it," he said, "but I didn't know the general public would like it too." That gap between fandom love and crossover traction is everything, and he clearly felt it.
Actress Han Ji-eun guested on the episode. When San offered to dance alongside her — telling her "I'll be right behind you" — Ha-ha and Yang Se-chan immediately tried to join in. Kim Jong-kook groaned "those flies." Yoo Jae-suk called the pair's attempt to ride San's popularity "tacky."
Yoo Jae-suk had also clocked San's overall energy on arrival. "He has composure."
