BE'O (real name 유찬욱, 25) debuted in 2020 with Monster. Counting Stars — his fifth single — broke him into the mainstream. Two mini-albums followed: FIVE SENSES in 2022 and Affection in 2024.

The awards stacked up fast. In 2022 alone, he won the K Global Heart Dream Awards K Global Hip Hop Award, the Genie Music Award for Best Hip Hop Artist, and placed 6th at the Melon Music Awards. He'd finished third on Show Me the Money 10 that year. By 2023 he'd added the Golden Disc Awards Best Solo Artist, Seoul Music Awards R&B Hip Hop Award, Hanteo Music Awards Hip Hop Award, and the Circle Chart Music Awards Discovery of the Year in the hip-hop category.
