Three BLACKPINK members are running solo comebacks at the same time. The gap in their approaches—and their numbers—is hard to ignore.
Lisa's 'SaWaDiKa' is doing something else entirely
Lisa dropped pre-release single SaWaDiKa on September 4. The music video hit 70.8 million YouTube views within 24 hours, crossed 100 million in two days, and sat at 135.5 million views by September 7 at 4 PM. It pulled 2.79 million Spotify streams on release day alone, landing at No. 13 on the global daily chart. The video has 2.21 million likes. Her EP PRESS PLAY is scheduled for October 23.
Jisoo released pre-release single CLICK the same day, September 4. By September 7 at 4 PM, the music video had 25.19 million views and 1.73 million likes.
Jennie's earlier head start and what it charted
Jennie moved first. She surprise-released Less than a Lover on July 24, then put out the digital version of EP Fallen Angel on August 28. The Less than a Lover video has 26.37 million views and 1.25 million likes. On Spotify, it drew 2.26 million streams on release day, reaching No. 34 on the global daily chart.

Jisoo's plan is the longest game
Jisoo's strategy is the most drawn out of the three. Starting with CLICK, she plans to release singles sequentially, building toward her first solo full-length album. Each single is meant to carry an organic flow rather than stand alone—the goal is to draw "one narrative" across the entire release run. That's a long runway, and it either pays off as a cohesive statement or tests fan patience across months.
Lisa, meanwhile, posted a selfie on September 11 with Canadian actor Hudson Williams at a luxury brand event. That came after an American fashion magazine reported in June that Lisa's representative had asked media to avoid relationship questions, suggesting a split from Frédéric Arnault, the TAG Heuer CEO and fourth son of the LVMH family, whom she had been dating since 2023. Online communities have also circulated sightings of Lisa with Thai actor Blue Pontiawat, who is three years her junior, including reports that she and her family attended his mother's birthday party.
