Close Your Eyes (클로즈 유어 아이즈) dropped Open Your Eyes on September 18 across online music platforms. The full fourth mini album, 256th Note, arrives September 30.
The track that opens the album
Open Your Eyes is the first track on 256th Note. It reinterprets jazz freedom and improvisation through hip-hop and R&B, built on an experimental piano arpeggio loop and fast-tempo drums. Pianist Yohan Kim and jazz saxophonist Jacob Scesney both appear on the recording. Members Jeon Min-wook (전민욱) and Kenshin (켄신) co-wrote the lyrics.
What '256th Note' is actually about
The album title comes from the 256th note, one of the shortest note values in music. The concept: recording the various emotions that pass in a fleeting moment. Seven members make up the group. Jeon Min-wook, Ma Jingxiang (마징시앙), Jang Yeo-jun (장여준), Kim Seong-min (김성민), Song Seung-ho (송승호), Kenshin, and Seo Gyeong-bae (서경배).
Live debut on September 19
Close Your Eyes will perform Open Your Eyes live for the first time at the 2026 The Fact Music Awards on September 19. On September 30 — the same day 256th Note releases — the group will hold an online and offline comeback live. Fourth mini album, first-track pre-release, awards stage debut. All in one week.
