Daum to exclusively livestream inaugural SPOTV K-POP AWARDS on September 6

Portal Daum will exclusively stream the first-ever SPOTV K-POP AWARDS (SKA) on September 6 at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

SKA is a rebranding of the Circle Chart Music Awards. SPOTV and global fandom platform BIGC now co-host the event. Winners combine Circle Chart's objective chart data with worldwide fan votes and judges' scores. The red carpet starts at 3 PM, followed by the main ceremony at 5 PM on Daum's stream.

Beyond the live feed, Daum will push real-time VOD clips and short-form content from the ceremony and congratulatory stages as quickly as possible after each segment airs.

Two new award categories carry Daum's name. The Daum Male Solo Award and the Daum Female Solo Award debut this year.

Broadcaster Jang Sung-gyu, BILLIE's Tsuki, and ANDA's Han Yu-jin (한유진) will host. Presenters include actors Kim Jae-won, Moon Sang-min, Bae Hyun-sung, Lee Chae-min, and Chae Seo-an. Singers Choi Ji-su and Bora of SISTAR are also presenting. Sports figures Cha U-min, Cho Han-gyeol, and baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun round out the lineup.

Performing and attending artists include KISS OF LIFE, RIIZE, ANDA, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, BILLIE, CLOSE YOUR EYES, KICKFLIP, KIKI, 82MAJOR, MODESIEY, Choi Ye-na, PAU, COSMOSI, SEONG-RI, CIRCUS, and Jun Yu-jin (전유진), among others.

Daum Entertainment is launching original programming around the event. Music show Monthly Daum and issue talk show Weekly Sangam (위클리 상암) are part of the slate.
