BIFF's opening pick heads to theaters in November

Director Kim Jong-kwan's 낮과 밤은 서로에게 (Day and Night Speak to Each Other) will world-premiere as the opening selection of the 31st Busan International Film Festival. A November domestic release follows.

Kim previously directed 최악의 하루, 더 테이블, and 조제. His work has established him as one of Korean cinema's essential voices for quiet, intimate drama. This film stays true to form: the entire story unfolds inside a single café across one season, summer into autumn, tracking the daytime and nighttime conversations of four couples as they move through different moments and emotions of love.
