Go Won-hee signs with Billions agency after divorce
Go Won-hee has signed with Billions months after her divorce from a non-celebrity businessman was confirmed.
New agency, new chapter
Go Won-hee signed an exclusive contract with Billions on September 4. Her former agency Ghost Studio had confirmed earlier this year that she and her husband agreed to end their marriage.
She married an older non-celebrity businessman in October 2022. Ghost Studio said at the time: "After careful consideration, she agreed to end her marriage early this year."
Billions released a statement: "We are pleased to form a precious connection with the actress and will provide careful support so that Go Won-hee can shine further and discover new possibilities."
A career spanning drama and film
Go Won-hee broke through in 2013 playing Jang Yeol Wang-hou Jo Ssi in JTBC's 궁중잔혹사 꽃들의 전쟁. Her drama work followed steadily.
She appeared in KBS1TV 고양이는 있다, KBS2 왕의 얼굴, and 별이 되어 빛나리. Later came KBS2TV 최강 배달꾼 (Lee Ji-yoon) and JTBC 으라차차 와이키키 (Kang Seo-jin). She played model Min Ye-rin in KBS2 퍼퓸, Shin Na-eun in Netflix 연애대전, and flight attendant Oh Pyeong-hwa in JTBC 킹더랜드. TV CHOSUN's 다음생은 없으니까 aired last year with her as show host Song Ye-na.
Film credits include 경성학교: 사라진 소녀들, 한강블루스, 흔들리는 물결, 메리 크리스마스 미스터 모, 죄 많은 소녀, and 개그맨.
